Carlson Wagonlit Travel announces new Managing Director for Australia & New Zealand

 

SYDNEY, JUNE 15, 2011 – Carlson Wagonlit Travel, a global leader specialising in business travel management, today announces the appointment of Peter Brady as Managing Director CWT, Australia and New Zealand.


The new appointment is a highlight for CWT as it continues the company's growth strategy in Australia and New Zealand.


Martin Warner, Chief Operating Officer CWT Asia Pacific said, “Peter is well known and greatly respected both at CWT and within the industry, and is ideally positioned to take CWT Australia and New Zealand forward.”


Previously Vice President, Global Program Solutions, Asia Pacific, Mr Brady has over 16 years industry experience, including 12 based in Australia and has contributed greatly to CWT since joining in 2000. His most recent role within the company saw him lead CWT’s Global Program Solutions team in Asia Pacific with responsibility for the deployment of CWT’s Program Optimisation products and services. Prior to that, Mr Brady was based in Paris as Vice President Global Product Management Traveller & Transaction Services, responsible for the globalisation of CWT’s product suite.


Within CWT, Mr Brady has worked across sales, account management, operations, supplier relations, marketing and product management, bringing a breadth of knowledge and expertise from numerous areas within the business.


Mr Warner went on to say “With his extensive local, regional and international knowledge, and strong customer relationships, Peter was the clear choice in leading CWT.”


He also said “Peter will be an excellent addition to the already strong and stable leadership team."
